Had to post something today simply about the temperatures outside… here in the Northeast, we get some nasty weather… we’ve had hurricanes, an errant tornado, thunderstorms, windstorms, blizzards, etc. but as I’m writing this post, it is literally -1 degrees outside. I opened the front door to put the dog out, and it was worse than sticking my head in a freezer. The weather forecast calls for precipitation this weekend, which should add some nice ice layers on top of the snow the fell this morning. What was supposed to be 3-6″, coupled with the cold air and wind, ended up being close to 15″ by my garage door. When I look out the back of the house, there are areas that look like no snow fell. Go figure!
I haven’t run since the 5K on New Year’s Eve, but 2 hours of shoveling snow today hopefully made up for some of that. I definitely have to get back into a regular routine of running before PHM next month. Hopefully, P90X3 will come and give me a nice diversion once in a while to treadmill running.
