Figured I’d start out the post with a nice Valentine greeting. One more week and I’ll be heading down to visit the mouse and run half marathon #1 of the year. Hopefully the weather will be nice, compared to the ridiculous amount of snow we’ve got in the last week alone.
That’s the view standing on my driveway (after shoveling for two hours)! Between back-to-back snowstorms, we got around 2 FEET of snow… this already on top of probably a foot or so of compacted ice and snow from the last month. The only light at the end of the tunnel (aside from spring) is 40 degree temps next week – then we can start worrying about flooding.
Hopefully, the winter weather ends soon, as it would be nice to get back outside running, rather than shoveling. At least I’m getting somewhat of an upper body workout.
