Finally got to run for the first time in two weeks – and it showed. My pace was slower than normal, so I ended up only doing a little more than two and a quarter miles. It was after 8 when I started, so the declining daylight added to the short run. Overall, it was just enough to shock the system back into “running mode”. The real goal now is to keep up the weekly training as I’m roughly 3 months out from Dumbo Double Dare.
