Attempted a short 2 mile run today – figured it’s been almost two weeks, should be fairly recovered from the 10K… ended up in the mid-12’s for pacing, which is worse than my average/normal 11 mins/mile. I could tell early on that this run was going to be a struggle, and my knee is still giving me issues… all the classic symptoms of patellar tendonitis. If this doesn’t improve, it will be a trip to the orthopedic guy to see what else I can do to address the problem. For now though, and the next couple days, back to dog and family walks instead of hard runs.
