Temps were in the 40&#8217;s, and it should have been a nice morning for a run&#8230; boy, was I wrong. This was the &#8220;not really feeling it run&#8221;, and I basically crept up to 13 miles and called it quits. Legs and muscles in general started hurting, and I wasn&#8217;t in the mood to trek on for something that risked injury. While I don&#8217;t want to go into Goofy undertrained, I&#8217;ve completed 2 other marathons, including Goofy last year without a full book of training behind me, so I know I can do it. runDisney also gives you a very nice time cushion of 16-minutes per mile AFTER the last runner starts. Since I&#8217;m not running in the last corral, I&#8217;ve got an extra buffer.<\/p>\n<p>These runs are bound to happen from time to time, I just wasn&#8217;t expecting it at this one. Maybe tripping along the way was an omen of how the whole thing would turn out.
