Today was another interesting day – our return from Walt Disney World and my daughter’s 5th birthday. We have traditionally stayed at WDW for her birthday, but due to our annual passes expiring, we chose to return today rather than stay an extra day. Elaina got a card and a small birthday gift upon awaking this morning, and we literally scrambled to get ready for an 8:20am pickup by Disney’s Magical Express. Add that to a late night after staying out to see Fantasmic, and we were all tired. Even the ride home, poor Elaina got a bit car sick. We all celebrated tonight with a cake for her, and my parents and grandmother visited as well. Suffice it to say, it was an interesting trip, which I’ll write about at some point over the next week. It also served as a recovery of sorts from the St. Luke’s Half Marathon from last Sunday. Hopefully, I can jump back into my training and prepare for Dumbo Double Dare in August.
