Tomorrow the family leaves for our annual Walt Disney World vacation. My daughter Elaina turns 6 on May 5, and has spent every birthday so far in WDW with Mickey. This will be a different trip for us, new airline (Frontier), going essentially a week earlier than we normally do, and trying out some new things. Alex, our 4-year old, gets to go on Test Track and Soarin’ for the first time, as he now meets the height requirement. Can’t wait to see how much fun they have down there. To top it all off, on May 4th, Star Wars Day, I was able to score reservations for the Hollywood & Vine Restaurant with Jedi Mickey. More to come on the trip when I get back.
I’m hoping the pictures from the St. Luke’s Half come out good. I’m still feeling the usual post-race DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness) but surprisingly it’s not as bad as I expected. Hopefully, all this training I’ve been doing is having an effect. I’m just hoping walking around the parks all day for a week won’t lead to an overuse injury. One can only hope!
