It was bound to happen… spent the last couple of days sick… what started as a bad cough, and was diagnosed as a cold on Thursday night quickly turned into bronchitis and a severe upper respiratory infection. Haven’t had a 101 fever in years… haven’t been sick like that in years. Thankfully, a weekend to rest and some strong antibiotics, and I’m feeling at least serviceable to get back to work.
If things could’ve been any more inconvenient, I started a new job as Chief Technology Officer this week, so nothing like taking Day 5 off sick. Go figure!
No surprise then that running has been put on hold till I am completely better. The elusive long run is still out there waiting for me with Goofy only a month away!
