Now it’s time to say goodbye… again!

Leaving WDW is always a sad time… great place to have fun, and you always find/learn something new. As I sit here at the airport in Charlotte, NC waiting for my flight, I’m thinking back on another amazing weekend. Oh, and the BBQ at Brookside Farms is outstanding (yes, I’m eating Carolina BBQ at the airport).

During some of the weekend conversations, I found out Lisa and I were on the first leg home together. She had a connection back to Tulsa, and my connection back to Allentown both went through Charlotte. We ended up sitting next to each other which made that part of the trip seem faster.

This weekend was about having fun, and knocking out the second Goofy Challenge in a row. The races were difficult simply due to the typical Florida humidity. I did manage to knock out some of my runDisney goals this time around, made some new friends, and didn’t spend quite as much time in the parks as I originally thought I would.

After wishing my roommate Tom a safe flight home, I checked out of the hotel this morning and heading back with Lisa and Rachel to meet up with the others at Animal Kingdom’s Boma restaurant. Another awesome breakfast experience, and a great way to end our marathon (literal and figurative) weekend. I have no doubt we’ll all cross paths again at this human trap… set by a mouse!
